Polycarbonate & Acrylic

Not all commercial glass sheets are created equal. Sometimes, they’re not actually glass.

Members of the thermoplastic family, polycarbonate and acrylic sheets are often used in place of glass products. Designed to offer the clarity of traditional glass without the same fragility, both glass alternatives hold up against blunt impacts. Compared to glass,  polycarbonate sheets are up to 250x stronger, while acrylic sheets are 17x.

Polycarbonate and acrylic sheets also boast several other key features, including:

  • Durability
  • Longevity
  • Workability
