AGC Pyrobel® 120 is designed for the most critical safety zones in a building. It is tested to ASTM E119 / UL 263, the same standard used for concrete and drywall fire barriers.
In the event of a fire, the multiple intumescent interlayers expand to form a thick, opaque shield. This barrier holds back flames and smoke for a full 120 minutes while blocking the transfer of radiant and conductive heat. This ensures that the non-fire side remains cool enough to prevent spontaneous combustion of materials and allows for safe, panic-free evacuation.
